The sun and moon rise and set times for each day of the year are depicted graphically. Colored bars indicate the sun-up and moon-up period for each day. The original data tables were obtained from URL http://riemann.usno.navy.mil/AA/data/docs/RS_OneYear.html and are presented here in graphical form. The numbers give the local time (AST) of rise and set times in hours and minutes. The plots show the moon-up in white, the sun-up in yellow, and the nautical twilight (12 degrees depression angle) in red. Only the time given by the black part of graphs is useful for auroral observations.
